The launch of the Inaugural Issue of Journal of Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal (JSAN) coincided with the national conference of the society on 1st March 2014. It was handed out to the delegates and life members of Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal. And now, after one year, we are in position to announce that JSAN has established itself as a comprehensive open access regional online journal in the field of anesthesia, intensive care and pain medicine. The journal is making an incredible impact in the regional scientific community. From the very beginning, we found that we could attract submissions from all over the world. We have tried to combine the excellent original research work with quality contributions from the reviewers.
